2024 Oscar nominees Jon Batiste and Jerskin Fendrix are among the finalists for the 2024 ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards. Batiste, an Oscar nominee for best original song for “It Never Went Away” from American Symphony, is nominated here for documentary score of the year for that same film. Fendrix, an Oscar nominee for best original score for Poor Things, is nominated here for film score of the year for that same film.

The ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards gives the ASCAP composer community a forum to recognize the artistic accomplishments of their peers.
